Joe's Bikes MOUNTAIN CYCLE SAN ANDREAS 1997

This week we're bringing you another of our Classic Bike build restoration videos. Our last classic was the Raleigh Chopper video and is really popular so we thought we'd film another to go with the growing classic collection.

Back in the 90's Shaums March who features at the start made this bike famous in the Plush video which was available on VHS. It's a real shame that Mountain Cycles aren't still around, but for me this is one of the most iconic bikes ever. The raw aluminium frame shows off the incredible welds and it is quite light at around 7lbs in weight. It's got some quirks like the really fiddly brake routing brackets but it was a fun build and it is still fun to ride for an old bike. Special thanks to Aaron at Fat Spanner for the help with some of the parts. Hope you like it and let us know what bikes you were riding in the 90's.
