Mother seeks community help for DNA testing in teen son's unsolved murder

After more than a year without answers, the mother of a teen killed in Auburn is turning to the community for help in obtaining crucial DNA testing she believes could help solve the case.

Lonnisha Landry's 16-year-old son, Xavier, was gunned down in Auburn on Jul. 12, 2024.

Landry says her son was hanging out with friends that night when suddenly someone opened fire on the 500 block of A Street SE.
