Fields near East and West Cowick in East Yorkshire were flooded but no properties were damaged as the Aire and Calder Navigation breached on Sunday 20th December.
A helicopter was used to drop 350 tonnes of aggregate and 170 of clay to repair the gap in the embankment.
Trucks are seen arriving with boards to lay across the fields to gain access to the breach with vehicles etc.
Video straight from camera, no editing, hence why first bit is choppy.
