The synopsis of the story is: Jimu Ahuo returned to his mountain hometown after 20 years to pray for blessings for his grandmother and find inspiration for his graduation design. Despite the language barrier, he grew closer to his grandmother and discovered the importance of culture and family. Conflicts arose, his grandmother went missing, and Ahuo decided to leave in anger. However, his grandmother followed and gave him final advice, filling him with regret. Eventually, he chose to stay in the mountains, exploring his heritage and realizing that the flame in his homeland was the sacred fire he had been searching for.

这是一部关于中国少数民族彝族的故事，是导演本科的毕业作品，电影使用的是中国少数民族彝族的语言。故事的简介是：吉木阿火为了毕业设计灵感，回到阔别20年的大山故乡为奶奶祈福。语言隔阂和20年的陌生感令他压力倍增。但在与奶奶的亲近中，他逐渐领悟到民族文化与亲情的真谛。奥运前夕，因毕摩的吉日与别家冲突，奶奶走失，阿火愤怒之下决定离开。但奶奶的深情叮嘱让他深感懊悔，最终选择留下。他认识到，故土的平凡火焰才是他内心真正的“圣火”。
