Soundbytes: The House Committee on Legislative Franchises said it may begin hearings next week on the alleged violations of Solar Para sa Bayan, the firm founded by Batangas Rep. Leandro Leviste. Among the issues lodged against Solar Para sa Bayan is that it started operations despite not having a franchise. Ferrer also said that Leviste’s claim that the franchise was “ipso facto revoked” in 2022, would be tackled as there is a need for documentation on the cancellation of a franchise.
