A sounding diagram, also called a thermo diagram, is a temperature profile of the atmosphere at a certain location. It also gives the dew point at different altitudes. With a sounding diagram you can predict weather clouds will form, if thunderclouds will form and what their severity will be. This is a difficult lesson and it relies heavily on concepts discussed earlier.
