Fight Back: A Women's Personal-Defense Seminar | Empowered with Combatives and Situational Awareness

Fight Back! is a beginner-friendly seminar for women that covers defensive strategies ranging from situational awareness skills to devastating fighting techniques. For 4 hours, we show students how they can spot danger before it reaches them, make decisions under stress, and what to do if they are forced to Fight Back.

In any martial arts setting, it is nearly impossible to use self-defense techniques at full force with a live person. Restraint is necessary to prevent injuries and damage that would put a stop to training. But does holding back handicap a student from truly seeing what they're capable of?

Our fighting system is based in combatives with the intention of bringing the Fight Back! to the attacker. Because our time in this seminar is limited, we teach only the easiest-to-learn, most damaging techniques based in gross motor skills as these actions are the most common when under stress. At the pinnacle of this course, all students will have the opportunity to test these reactions on a real person. This trained actor will be in padded gear known as a "redman" suit, which allows the student to react with full intensity and force. This is the ONLY way for anyone to understand what they are capable of.

While it's true that you can't learn everything in 4 hours, this course gives our students actionable skills and a useable mindset to take with them from the moment they walk out of our doors. Fight Back! serves as a springboard for women to begin their journey down the road of independence, safety, and preparedness.
