Can Retro Girls Toys Truly Be Revived or Are We Female Collectors Grossly Underestimated?

With the resurgence of many "Boy Toy" franchises such as Masters of the Universe Origins, G.I. Joe Classified Series, The Real Ghostbusters, Power Rangers toys and more, it leads me to wonder...where is the love for Girls Toys? Is there room in the Collector's Market for retro girl revivals, or are we limited to Anniversary Editions or toy lines that evolve for the current children's market?
