Today, we welcome you to another episode of your Road trip which is taking us to Gloucester. But before we continue let's try to know a bit about Gloucester.

It is located on the River Severn, a city in the west of England, near the Cotswolds rural area, which is proudly positioned with the most inland port in the UK, with a strong industrial past, clearly visible from the warehouses that still line the docks today.

It is a city that is bursting with history, vibrant with events and festivals, has a wonderful food and drinks offering, a shoppers paradise, a fab rugby team, and just so much to see and do, with many new developments to look forward to, including the Food Dock.

In addition,  It’s known for 11th-century Gloucester Cathedral, which has Romanesque and Gothic architecture, plus the tomb of King Edward II. Nearby are the Gloucester Docks, with restored Victorian warehouses, a dry dock and the Mariners Chapel. The National Waterways Museum celebrates the city’s industrial past with canal boats and interactive displays.

As with the previous video, in this episode, the first 4 minutes outline the highlights of the trip with all the sceneries present in the full video.

We departed from Sunbeam way (Coventry)  to arrive at Midland Road (Gloucester). We used the A46 (S): A46: M5 (S) which is the shortest route. There are about 3 others routes that one can use from Coventry. Possibly next time we will use other routes.

The Trip took us about 1h15 minutes to get to our destination considering that we had no traffic and it was a Sunday. The duration of the trip depends on various factors. The route you use, the time you leave, the area you depart from, etc.
