January 9, 2026 - Pouring bronze, assembly of rabbit for William Carrington, Pouring 3D Resin Prints, welding rope section onto PECOS BILL tornado by Linda Sioux Henley, breakout and work on bases for "Dangerous Encounter" by Hibler, and more!
Ok, have to say, been watching many videos from different YouTube Channels on 3D Resin Printing. I have been trying to find a resin that works reliably in our capacity here at the foundry. I watched a video saying the Siraya Tech True Blue was great for printing and casting. Then I watch a second video from another channel saying that resin was the worst resin he had come across or worked with. That it was hard to print and not castable.
Anyways, I purchased the resin. Printed perfectly with it, gated/sprued, and invested it just fine. Burned out without issue (And we used ceramic shell investment and propane burnout) and poured fine. Broke out the castings, and the QR Code prints worked just fine! So, to the one channel who stated that they have been in this business for 20+ years, you might need to revise your knowledge base. I can also say to that channel, that we have been investing and casting PLA prints all the time with zero issue. Which they stated wasn't possible.
Anyways, to sum up. Had decent results using @sirayatechofficial Siraya Tech True Blue Casting Resin using the method of ceramic shell investing. Propane furnace burnout, then pouring bronze. So, Thanks, and I will be purchasing more.
