The Face Shrine, Letting You Stew - Dungeon Design in Zelda (LANS/DX) Ft.

This is the one I was most looking forward to examining.
The Face Shrine is a well designed dungeon, but that isn’t what it’s most well known for. Anybody who has played Link’s Awakening will instead remember this dungeon as a pivotal moment in the game’s narrative, one that takes no issue with letting you sit with a sense of dread for a little while.
