Why College Students Need to Use LinkedIn

Hi all, here is a video for everyone who's heard that LinkedIn is "Facebook for old people." It is essential that you begin using LI at a young age to learn how to market yourself and make yourself appealing not only to future employers, but to the people you work with on a daily basis. I talk about the main benefits that come from starting young and why you should care at this point, even if you are in community college or high school.

This is a new series on my channel that aims to help college students understand how to be an asset in the workforce. I come from a family where both my parents are business owners and have shown mean what it means to have good work ethic. This is how I motivated myself to pick myself up out of a bad situation, work hard in community college and make it to UCLA. I've held multiple jobs throughout this process, including one at LinkedIn, which gave me so much insight about how be a team player and build my personal brand. Hope this helps all my subscribers and anyone out there looking to get started in their career!
