ACG Projects: Multi-Cloud Madness! Build an image recognition service using AWS, Azure and GCP

While a multi-cloud architecture might not be a strategic choice, the reality is that many companies find themselves with workloads running across several cloud environments. It might be the result of an acquisition, IT divisions finding themselves consolidated in an effort to increase economies of scale, or simply the lack of a top-down plan. Whatever the reason, knowing how to navigate a multi-cloud landscape can be a challenge!

In this ACG Project, A Cloud Guru Senior Training Architect Scott Pletcher puts forth a challenge to architect and build an image upload and recognition service using three public cloud providers – AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. You’ll learn an approach to integrating across public clouds to create a working product, as well as learning some basics around the technology used: Vue.js, Node.js, REST calls, AWS Amplify, Serverless Framework, Azure Computer Vision Services, Google Cloud Platform, and GCP Firebase. It’s time to get hands-on and tackle multi-cloud!
