Stopped By Carcar City, Cebu to Eat Lechon/Inasal and Special Chicharon
Carcar City is one of the cities in the Province of Cebu popular for its lechon/inasal na baboy, secial chicharon and other delicacies like ampao and bokayo. It is dubbed as a heritage city in Cebu.
During our visit to this heritage city, we dropped by the shops and chicharon and ampao for take away. We also ate at a restaurant frequented by locals and visitors for their lechon/inasal na baboy and other Cebuano and Filipino dishes. We bought lechon/inasal na baboy and pugapo (grouper) fish with puso (local hanging rice) and softdrinks for our quick lunch. It was a satisfying lunch.
