He'eia State Park is a beautiful bay front property that gives amazing views of Kaneohe Bay and the He'eia fish ponds. This open park is great for events or just a simple family picnic with spectacular views of the Ko'olau mountains. It's also a very historical place in Hawaii & American History.
He'eia State Park, formerly known as Ke'alohi Point is also a very culturally significant place. Neighboring an ancient Heʻeia Fishpond, the peninsula's distinctness had it regarded as a sacred 'leaping point' where the souls of the departed were believed to leap from this earth and reunite with their ancestors.
