In a historic achievement for the Didayi community, a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG), Champa Raspeda from Malkangiri district has made history by becoming the first girl from her tribe to clear NEET and secure a seat at Fakir Mohan Medical College, Balasore. Champa hails from Amlibeda village in Korukonda block. Her father is a marginal farmer, and despite all odds, she pursued her education with determination. From SSD Girls’ High School in Chitrakonda to SSD +2 Science College in Govindpally — her journey is a testament to resilience and hard work.
