New Camera! New Microphone! Don’t know how to use them!

Welcome to Episode 30 - and thanks for sticking around; I know it’s been a while. But there’s been good reason…

I had expected to get to grips with my new Sony ZV-E10 quite quickly, but it didn’t happen. Right away, as soon as I started playing with it, I knew this was going to be a long haul. It was so much different from anything I’ve had before.

I did try doing a video in October, combining iPad and Sony recordings, but there was so many mistakes, chunks of process missed out because record didn’t work when I thought it would, mics not correctly set, etc etc on-and-on, I just abandoned it completely.

Despite other projects grabbing my time, somehow I managed to get to a point where I felt confident using it at the North Of England Woodworking and Power Tool Show - also known as Harrogate 2023. This video is the result of that.

I’m very grateful to Rachel Meadows, Richard Jones and Ian Parker for their time, but particularly their patience! And, I’m fairly certain that the Turner is Les Thorne of No Turning Back Woodturning, so thanks to him for the excitement!
