In April 2018, the Medieval Convent Drama project staged the Barking Abbey Elevatio and Visitatio ceremonies in the Cistercian Abbey of La Maigrauge in Fribourg.
When actors leave the frame on the left-hand side, they go into the Mary Magdalen chapel and shut the door behind them. The priest in red then hits the door three times while singing the Elevamini. All exit together.
The long interval between the two ceremonies was necessary to change the three Marys into white surplices and veils, as indicated in the manuscript.
