🏗️ Pakistan’s Next Big Transport Project! Lahore’s Yellow Line Train to Transform the City



The Yellow Line Train Project Lahore is set to become one of Punjab’s most ambitious urban transport initiatives. According to reports, the Punjab Government has prepared a 24 -kilometer-long elevated and underground track with an estimated cost of PKR 88 billion. This project aims to revolutionize Lahore’s transportation network by linking key areas from Thokar Niaz Baig to Harbanspura, reducing traffic congestion and ensuring a smoother daily commute for thousands of citizens.

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the project will integrate modern signal systems, motorbike lanes, and underpasses to enhance road safety and traffic flow. Experts believe this initiative will not only facilitate residents but also increase the city’s economic activity and infrastructure value.

The Yellow Line will complement existing Lahore Metro projects, including the Orange Line, offering a seamless network across the city. Government officials have also proposed three major design alternatives to ensure cost efficiency and minimal disruption during construction. The operation track and underpass design will be finalized after expert reviews in the upcoming weeks.

This project symbolizes Punjab’s modernization journey, promising cleaner, faster, and more affordable urban mobility. It reflects the government’s long-term vision to make Lahore a model metropolitan city equipped with smart transportation solutions.
