北京丰台区长峰医院于4月18日中午发生火灾后，中午12时57分北京丰台区消防救援支队接到火情，耗时36分钟将现场明火扑灭。当晚8点49分，北京头条才发布新闻，通报21人死亡。在此期间，官方持续封锁消息，延迟发布通知。
