The best atmosphere in Czechia? 🇨🇿

▪️Second visit
It was my second time visiting Slavia Prague and the Fortuna Arena and it didn’t disappoint. It’s safe to say that Slavia Prague has the best atmosphere in the Czech Republic and they might even be in the top 10 of Europe as well. The cup match against Sigma Olomouc didn’t go well for Slavia Prague, but the atmosphere was amazing.

▪️Not sold out
I was a bit surprised that the match vs. Sigma Olomouc wasn’t sold out. With a place in the semi-finals on the line, I imagined that there would be more interest in this match. Only 13.158 of a possible 19.370 showed up. When I saw this at the start of the match, I thought the atmosphere would suffer, but this wasn’t the case at all. In the fans’ defence, a match at 18:00 on a Tuesday isn’t great.

▪️Champions
They might have lost the possibility of winning the Czech Cup, but in the league things look a lot better for Slavia Prague. With 2 matches remaining until the play-offs start, they have a 13 point lead on number two Viktoria Plzeň. I’m not quite aware of the Czech play-offs system, but I’d say that’s a decent lead to secure the championship.
