This is a stunning 1950 Ford Custom Club Coupe Restomod! This California car was sold new at King Motor Company in Huntington Park, Los Angeles, California. This beautifully restored "Shoebox" Ford has been nicely built and is ready to be enjoy.
Finished in Bimini Blue with a very straight, rust free body that looks stunning. The chrome, trim and rubber have all been restored or replaced. The glass looks great with a unique light blue tint, beautiful stainless and color-keyed steel wheels with new trim rings and caps. The car was tastefully finished and looks fantastic.
The interior was completely restored with new headliner, upholstery, rugs, panels and has a beautiful dash, steering wheel, and gauges. The car has been well insulated and seals up nicely for a quiet, smooth and comfortable driving experience. A separate temperature gauge has been added under-dash. A modern wiring harness has been installed so the modern electronics run smoothly along with seatbelts in the front and rear. The trunk has been beautifully finished and includes spare and jack and tire cover.
The modern and fresh 302ci motor runs perfectly with plenty of power. It has electronic ignition, an Edelbrock carburetor with automatic choke, power brakes with discs upfront and a Volvo steering box providing tight, precise steering. The undercarriage is as nice as the rest of the car with a refinished frame, beautiful floors, restored suspension and a terrific sounding Blue Streak dual exhaust system. The gearing is perfect with it's Ford 8" rear-end and 3:0 gears. A large 3' radiator has been installed to keep this ford cool on the hot summer days!
This is truly a fantastic classic Ford Shoebox with a classic appearance that will look current for years to come and the drivability that would satisfy even someone looking for a daily driver.
