Matrimelee [Arcade] - play as Princess Sissy

This is a playthrough using Sissy in the Arcade MVS version of Power Instinct Matrimelee. Read on below for more information...

Sissy is the end boss of the game. She is a non-selectable character in the NeoGeo MVS Arcade version of the game.

===== HOW TO SELECT SISSY IN THE CONSOLE VERSION =====

IMPORTANT: This only works in the console version/mode of the NeoGeo game:

On the character select screen, press and hold all 4 attack buttons (A + B + C + D) before the VS screen appears. If you've done it correctly, Sissy will be your character.

Remember, she can only be used in VS Mode!

===== TECHNICAL INFORMATION =====

On the character select screen, her cursor position is at the top-left corner of the screen. This is obviously not accessible by normal means.

On the character select screen, when highlighted, she uses the wrong stance sprites and the wrong confirmation sprites. This is because she is not meant to appear on the character screen at all.

On the character select screen, when highlighted, her name "text" is glitched that it shows the icon of Jones. This is because she is not meant to appear on the character screen at all.

On the score Ranking screen (if you manage to get to enter your name), her portrait image can appear perfectly here. However, her "icon" sprite is incorrect in that it is the character select screen cursor. This is because she doesn't have an icon. You can see this at 25:29.

If you beat the game with her, you'll get the same generic ending that the hidden ROTD characters have.

Before fighting a ROTD opponent, in the cutscene where she opens the door, perhaps a better move could have been used. Obviously, Sissy is not meant to appear in these cutscenes. You can see an example of this at 06:00 in the video.

On the versus screen, she does not have an icon. This is normal.

She does not appear to have a Kinjite super move.

On her stage background, the angel neon light figures above represents the character's state.

Her treasure chest box resembles Pandora's Box.

The djinn that appears in her Abubo special move resembles Abubo from Rage of the Dragons.

In her treasure chest box, there is a "snake-in-the-box" within that appears to be her friend.
