Vivian Yotoma Fataki, principal or headmistress of the Gudele East Primary School, shares how the healthy lunches children receive in school help keep children in school, reduce dropout rates, and improve the children’s academic performance. This year, Gudele East Primary School has over 900 students.
In partnership with the World Food Programme, World Vision supports the School Meals Programme in South Sudan. In FY 2023 (Oct 2022-Sept 2023), over 209,000 learners in 192 schools across the country received daily ration of healthy lunches from WFP-WV School Meals Programme.
