こんにちは、明樹園の大島健資です。
今日は、縮緬カズラ の植え替え作業を行います。
最後まで、ご視聴よろしくお願いいたします。

皆さん覚えてますか？
約２週間前に「縮緬カズラの剪定・葉透かし作業」というタイトルで投稿しました。
約２週間経って、ご覧のように葉っぱが、沢山出てきています。

ちょうど５月に入って、気温も２０度を超えて良い季節になってきました。
縮緬カズラというのは、元々寒さに弱いため、植替え作業は、２０度を超えた頃が良いとされています。
ちょうど今の時期は最高に良い時期です。
これから植え替え作業を始めたいと思います。

【作業内容】
１．鎌を入れて、鉢から根を分離させる。
（１-１）この木は植え替えを、２年前に行っています。
　樹の勢いが良いので、根がしっかり出ています。
（１-２）急いで作業すると、鎌で枝を傷つけるので、丁寧に行ってください。
（１-３）鉢の形が、取り出すのに全く邪魔するような形ではないので、簡単に抜けると思います。

２．底の針金を外す。
（２-１）底の方には根が出ていないので、比較的作業は楽だと思います。

３．鉢から取り出す。
（３-１）根がしっかり回ってます。
「樹勢はすごく良い」という証拠です。

４．表面の土を丁寧に取り除く。
（４-１）植え替えの重要なポイントは、表面から約２㎝の層。
この層が、肥料とか水垢で表面が固くなり、水の通りが悪くなる。
表面から約２㎝の層をしっかりほぐし、水の通りを良くすることが大事な作業になります。

（４-２）ほぐし方は、幹から真っ直ぐ手前に引くようにする。
横や斜めに動かくと根を痛める。

（４-３）先が曲がったピンセット利用してます。
次に、細くした竹を束ねたもので、緑の苔を落としていきます。

（４-４）作業を後と前の違いが分かりますか？
固くなった層をしっかりほぐすことが、重要です。

（４-５）ある程度ピンセットでほぐして、竹串で綺麗にする。

５．ここがポイント”乾燥に注意”
（５-１）縮緬カズラの根は、とても乾燥に弱い。
他の樹と違って、縮緬カズラの場合、根をほぐしながら霧吹きなどで根に水分を与える。

（５-２）根の乾燥を防ぐためにも、植え替えは迅速に行うことが重要。

（５-３）根が多く出ていて良い状態です。

６．側面の土を削り、根を鋏で切る。
（６-１）１／４程度を目安にほぐしていきます。
（６-２）（鉢に入れて）持込みの古い樹で、前回の植え替えも丁寧に行ってる。
熊手もスムーズに入ります。
熊手に掛かるような根がありません。

（６-３）鋏で根を切っていきます。

７．底の根の処理

８．幹掃除
（８-１）高圧洗浄機で掃除します。

９．鉢の準備をする間
（９-１）鉢合わせ・網あてなどの準備をします。
その間は、根が乾かないように、水の中に入れて置く。

１０．植え替え
（１０-１）竹炭を入れる。
（１０-２）培養土を入れる。赤玉土が多めが良い。
（１０-３）力強く押し込むようにして、安置したら針金で止める。
（１０-４）固定した状態です。

１１．土を入れる
（１１-１）根と鉢の間に、しっかりと土を入れる。
あまり強く突かない。
強く突き過ぎると、水の通り道が、早く詰まる。

１２．水苔を貼る
（１２-１）乾燥に弱いので、水苔を貼る
植え替えの後も水を多めに与えてください。

Do you remember?
About 2 weeks ago, I posted it with the title "CHIRIMEN-KAZURA" "SENTEI" "HASUKASHI" .
After about 2 weeks, as you can see, many leaves have appeared.

In May, the temperature has risen to over 20 degrees Celsius and it has become a good season.

Since the "CHIRIMEN-KAZURA" is originally weak in the cold,
Replanting work"UEKAE" is said to be good when it exceeds 20 degrees.
Right now is the best time.
I would like to start replanting work"UEKAE" from now on.


[Work content]
1. Put a sickle and separate the roots from the bonsai pot.
(1-1) This tree has been replanted two years ago.
Roots are firmly present because the tree momentum is good.
(1-2) If you work in a hurry, the sickle will damage the branches, so please do it carefully.
(1-3)The shape of the bonsai pot this time does not hinder taking it out, so I think it will come out easily.

2. Remove the wire at the bottom.
(2-1) Since there is no root on the bottom, I think the work is relatively easy.

3. Take it out of the bonsai pot.
(3-1) The root is turning well.
It's a proof that "the trees are very good."

4. Carefully remove the soil on the surface.
(4-1) The important point of replanting is a layer about 2 cm from the surface.
The surface of this layer is hardened by fertilizer or scales, and the passage of water becomes poor.
It is important to loosen the layer about 2 cm from the surface and improve the water flow.

(4-2) To loosen, pull straight from the tree trunk.
If you move it sideways or diagonally, it will hurt your roots.

(4-3) I use tweezers with a bent tip.
Next, use a bundle of thin bamboos to remove the green moss.

(4-4) Can you see the difference between before and after work?
It is important to loosen the hardened layer firmly.

(4-5) Loosen it to some extent with tweezers and clean it with a bamboo skewer.

5. Here is the point "Be careful about drying"
(5-1) The roots of "CHIRIMEN-KAZURA" are very sensitive to drought.
(Unlike other trees, in the case of "CHIRIMEN-KAZURA"),
Moisturize the roots by spraying them while loosening the roots.

(5-2) In order to prevent the roots from drying out, it is important to replant them quickly.

(5-3) It is in good condition with many roots.

6. Cut the soil on the sides and cut the roots with scissors.
(6-1) Loosen about 1/4 as a guide.
(6-2) It is an old tree brought in a bonsai pot, and the previous planting is carefully done.
The rake can also enter smoothly.
There is no root to hang on the rake.

(6-3) Cut the root with scissors.

7. Bottom root treatment

8. Trunk cleaning
(8-1) Clean with a high pressure washer.

9. While preparing the pot
(9-1) Prepare pots and nets.
In the meantime, put it in water so that the roots do not dry.

10. Repotting ,"UEKAE"
(10-1) Add bamboo charcoal.
(10-2) Add culture soil. It's good that there is a lot of red clay.
(10-3) Push it in firmly and stop it with a wire when it is placed.
(10-4) It is in a fixed state.

11. Put soil
(11-1) Put the soil between the root and the pot.
Don't poke too hard.
If you stick too hard, the path of the water will clog up quickly.

12. Put moss
(12-1) Stick to water moss because it is weak against drying
Give plenty of water even after replanting.
