The continuation from my day here at Stafford on the West Coast Mainline where we continue to see services from Virgin Trains, London Midland, Cross Country and a great variety of freight from DRS, Freightliner and DB Schenker.
This episode is a lot more action packed with a great mixture of passenger and freight traffic throughout. Because of the disruption in the Carlisle area of the West Coast Mainline it means that a lot of freight traffic would have been diverted via the East Coast Mainline.
