Mother and Boyfriend Face SEVERE CHARGES in Florida for Zamora Foe's Brutal Death

In September 2024, 22-month-old Zamora Foe was found unresponsive in a Jacksonville, Florida, home, suffering from severe injuries including multiple fractures, a brain bleed, chemical burns, ligature marks, and evidence of s/a. She was removed from life support and passed away on September 18th, 2024. The medical examiner ruled her death a homicide due to blunt force trauma. Her mother, Zayla Goodwin (20), and Goodwin's boyfriend, Nathaniel Davis (23), were initially charged with child neglect. Following the homicide ruling, charges were upgraded in March 2025: her mother faces aggravated manslaughter of a child, while Nathaniel Davis faces first-degree murder, two counts of sexual b*ttery, aggravated child ab*se, and tampering with evidence. In April 2025, prosecutors announced their intent to seek the death penalty against Nathaniel Davis. Both have pleaded not guilty, and the case remains ongoing as of December 2025.
