Approximately 1.5 hours from London Charring Cross or London Bridge by train and we find ourselves in Battle, a small town in East Sussex England. It is named after the famous Battle of Hastings in 1066 and every October, there is a re-enactment of the battle with thousands of re-enactors taking part.But we are not here for the history, we're here to enjoy a lovely spring day and go on a fresh faced hike. There are white blossoms, green fields, yellow gorse, sheeps with new lambs, cows with their calfs and more.
