This video demonstrates how to install a ceiling fan remote receiver in the fan's motor housing. This completely reversible process neatly conceals a receiver in a fan where it would not otherwise fit in the canopy. Pull chain operated Hang-Tru Casablanca fans are great candidates for an installation like this, where Adapt•Touch would traditionally be required. I've also used it on Emerson fans, and it could be applied to a number of other manufacturers.
