महाराष्ट्र नगर निगम चुनाव में एक बार फिर भगवा रंग की जबरदस्त आंधी चली है. 29 नगर निगम वाले महाराष्ट्र में 24 जगह महायुति का मेयर बनना लगभग तय नजर आ रहा है. नतीजे ऐसे हैं मानों हिंदुत्व के तूफान के आगे सारे चेहरे उड़ गए. सारे समीकरण भरभराकर ढह गए, सारे दांव बुरी तरह परास्त हो गए. लोकल बॉडी के इस चुनाव में कुछ नहीं चला, सिर्फ देवेंद्र फडणवीस का चेहरा चला. एकनाथ शिंदे का साथ चला, हिंदू हित का फॉर्मूला चला. जिस BMC का गढ़ बचाने के लिए ठाकरे ब्रदर्स साथ आए वो किला भी 25 साल बाद ढह गया. सिर्फ ठाकरे ब्रदर्स का ही हाल बेहाल नहीं हुआ. पवार फैमिली की पावर भी सीज हो गई और कांग्रेस तो दूरबीन से दिखने लायक ही बची.

The BMC stronghold, which the Thackeray brothers had united to defend, also fell after 25 years. It wasn't just the Thackeray brothers who suffered a crushing defeat; the Pawar family's power was also significantly diminished, and the Congress party was reduced to a mere shadow of its former self.
