Hello friends! This is one of my most requested songs lately, so just in time for the spooky season to begin I present the title song from Phantom of the Opera! I have been singing along to this one since childhood so I already knew it by heart when I sat down to record.
The iconic title song, "The Phantom of the Opera," comes from the 1986 stage musical of the same name. It was composed by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber (who also co-wrote the musical's libretto) with lyrics by Charles Hart and Richard Stilgoe. The musical first captivated audiences with its London premiere on October 9, 1986.
