A severe weather threat brought damaging tornadoes, strong winds, and flash flooding to Columbia and central Missouri on Easter day. The landfill in Columbia had major tornado damage as several buildings were completely destroyed. Roads had low visibility causing major travel delays and even some accidents. Flash floods filled streams and flooded roadways in the city.
