This video is for a general audience. It is suitable for all ages.
OKAY. follows Bart, a loyal semi-truck nearing the end of his journey with Gale, his long-time operator who is retiring. As the town around them prepares to move on, Bart quietly struggles with the fear of being left behind. Hoping to stall time and prove he’s still needed, Bart attempts one final gesture — only to discover that what he truly needed was Gale’s simple, parting reassurance: even in the face of change, everything will be okay.
A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR:
OKAY. began as more than just a student film. It was a quiet tribute to my grandfather — a man whose kindness, strength, and humble presence shaped how I see the world. Like the character of Gale, he was a veteran, a man of faith, and someone who gave more than he ever asked for.
Originally, the character “B” was a simple stand-in for me — a blank letter representing someone trying to hold on to what matters, someone afraid to move forward without the person who taught them how. At the suggestion of my professor, I gave him a proper name — Bart — but the heart of the story remains the same: it’s personal. It’s mine. And it’s for him.
Though OKAY. doesn’t take place directly within the world of my show THE FAT CONTROLLERS ENGINES, it shares its spirit — a world built on quiet values, worn directions, aging machines with stories to tell, and the deep bond between people and the work they give their lives to.
The Bible in the story isn’t just a gift — it’s a compass. A small, silent way of saying: “I’ll still be with you. Keep going.”
That message is one I’ve carried since losing him.
This story is me handing it forward.
Thank you for watching, reading, or just listening.
I hope OKAY. reminds you of someone you loved — and how they helped you keep going.
— THE DIRECTOR
Hello everyone! It's been a while. My first College project! I hope you like it! I know it's not Thomas, but this piece holds a special place in my heart, and I hope it does the same for you.
The next video will be the 1,000 subscriber special! I promise it's coming. Following that will be an update of what to expect moving forward.
Once again, thank you for your patience. I know my absence is excusable, but there is a reason, and I thank you all for your extended grace during this difficult time.
Enjoy!
