Over the Kings Birthday long weekend, Steamrail ran some shuttles around Echuca and Bendigo over the long weekend.
The train with R761-S301 departed Melbourne on Fri 06/06/25 and ran to Bendigo for an overnight stop.
The train then departed Bendigo Saturday morning for Echuca, and then ran 2 Echuca shuttles, and later returned to Bendigo that night.
On Sun 08/06/25 , it ran 5 shuttles from Bendigo to Woodvale Block Point on the Swan Hill line.
On Monday 09/06/25 it ran 4 shuttles from Bendigo to Woodvale, and then returned back to Melbourne later in the afternoon.
