Superintendent of Police, Mr. Shivanshu Rajput, addressed the media in KGF today.
He announced that wearing helmet is compulsory from December 08, 2025. Violation will lead to a ₹500 fine.
He also mentioned that police have received several complaints related to:
✔️ Drugs consumption & peddling
✔️ Drinking in public
✔️ Rowdy sheeter activities
Strict actions are already being taken against such offenders.
Media questioned the SP about white-collar criminals.
Responding, SP Shivanshu Rajput assured that police are observing them closely and serious legal action will be taken if any complaint is received.
