THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING MY VIDEO! hopefully someone will watch it :)
I am new to making videos, please bear with me while I get used to it and get used to talking clearly, I find I add random words for no reason when talking maybe its nerves!. if you have any tips for me please let me know in the comment section below I would love to hear how bad I am doing :)
Looking to play Minecraft with your mates and have full control over your Minecraft server then why not create your own server that you can turn on and off any time you need it.
a simple guide on how to create a server in under 10 minutes.
a list of commands are below
update your server with
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
download the server fines from minecraft.net/en-us/download/server/bedrock
right click on the download button and click on copy link
in your terminal type wget and paste the link
install unzip with sudo apt install unzip
unzip the files using unzip "server filename"
to edit the server settings open server.properties with nano server.properties
save it with control x and press enter
to run the server type ./bedrock_server
if you want to disconnect from the server but keep your Minecraft server running then I would recommend using screen
before starting your Minecraft server type screen then press space. type ./bedrock_server and then on your keyboard press control then a and then d and it will detach your session and keep Minecraft bedrock server running if you log out of your server.
PART 2 - Will be a video on how to allow others to join from across the internet by opening ports to your router to allow others in to your minecraft server.
