Chomp! Abby was so excited to watch the original shark movie. In this movie reaction, Toy and Abby watch Jaws, which was one of the very first blockbuster movies and a magnificent accomplishment by Steven Spielberg.
"Jaws," directed by Steven Spielberg and released in 1975, is a classic thriller that redefined the summer blockbuster. The film is set in the fictional resort town of Amity Island, where a giant great white shark begins to terrorize the local beaches. The story kicks off with a young woman's mysterious disappearance during a late-night swim, leading to a shocking discovery that a massive shark is behind the attacks. The town's police chief, Martin Brody (played by Roy Scheider), becomes determined to protect the residents and tourists, despite opposition from the town's mayor, who fears the impact on the summer tourism season.
