Hi there :)
This is my version of the fly called The Magnet (Magneten). The original is more orange than my version. The original was invented by the norwegian Ole Martin Gilbu (aka @fiskejegeren). It is easy to tie and when wet, it becomes very transparent and lively in the water. When i saw the pattern I did not have the right materials, so had to make it work with what I had. Therefore I made a magenta colored variant of the fly. I tried it the day after I tied it in my local fjord with success, so give it a try.
Materials:
Ahrex Light Stinger hook size 6
Veevus white GSP thread
Pink fluorescent thread
3 mm black bead eyes
Barred white rabbit
Barred magenta rabbit
UV coho cool aid semi seal dubbing
Ice dub uv tan
Raidzap Superthin uv resin
