Sonic 3 wasn’t a game I owned back in the day. I could only enjoy it occasionally by renting it from the video store, but it was rarely available. I was 8 years old, and instead of Sonic 3, I was given Sonic & Knuckles.
Much later, thanks to emulation, I finally got to rediscover this amazing title and enjoy it to the fullest.

One of the most iconic moments is the start of Ice Cap Zone, with Sonic snowboarding through the snow, accompanied by an unforgettable track.
The original theme was composed by Brad Buxer for his ’80s band The Jetzons, and the song is called Hard Times. That’s why I wanted to give this version a touch of that classic ’80s synth pop sound.
