The Radiological Physics and Advisory Division (RP&AD) of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has been conducting the Diploma in Radiological Physics (DipRP) course since 1962. This is a one-year Post-M.Sc. programme. Sixty-one (61) courses have been successfully completed (academic year 2023–2024), and the sixty-second (62nd) batch (2024–2025) is currently underway. The sixty-third (63rd) batch (academic year 2025–2026) is scheduled to commence from the first week of August 2025. Initially affiliated with the University of Mumbai, the course is now conducted under the aegis of the Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), Mumbai (a Deemed-to-be University). The total number of seats available is 30, including up to 5 sponsored candidates from Government Institutions.
