How to make Paneer Butter Masala at home....it is a tasty and creamy dish made from Paneer ( cottage cheese) and butter...its thick and delicious creamy masala looks and tastes divine...We can eat it with chapati ; phulka or rice...do try it at home and enjoy its taste.
INGREDIENTS
Paneer (cottage cheese) -- 200 gm
Butter -- 50 gm
Tomatoes -- 6 to 7
Onion -- 2 medium sized
Cashew nuts -- 20 gm
curd -- 3 tspn
Green chillies -- 2
Dried red chillies -- 6 to 7
Red chilli powder -- 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder -- 1/2 teaspoon
coriander powder -- 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder -- 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste -- 1 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves -- few
Mint leaves -- few
Dried fenugreek leaves -- few
Salt -- according to taste
METHOD
1.Add some butter in a pan and roast onion, tomatoes,cashewnuts,green chillies and red chillies.
2.When this mixture cools grind it into a fine paste
3.Heat a pan and add butter,,when butter melts add ginger garlic paste and fry it for 2 minutes.
4.To this add the grinded paste and cook well for 10 to 15 minutes.
5.Then add Paneer (cottage cheese)...and mix well let it cook for 5 minutes then add 1/2 cup water in it.
6.Add 1/2 teaspoon garam masala if required(optional)
7.Then add coriander leaves,mint leaves and dried fenugreek leaves.
8.Mix everything well...Paneer butter masala is ready to serve..
Enjoy it with Naan ,, roti,,chapati,,phulka or rice as you wish.
