Siete Tazas, Rio Claro

Whitewater kayaking the Siete Tazas section of the Rio Claro in Chile!!!!

The Rio Claro has been on my bucket list for as long as I remember and it was a dream come true to get my first strokes in Chile on such a unique river.

My goal this year was to spend more time in my creek boat practicing running rivers and waterfalls so that I was confident paddling rivers like this once I arrived in Chile. I got my first GoPro and started filming each river to improve my river running and to help me remember the lines. The plan wasn't to post so many videos on YouTube this year, but I'm so grateful you all got to join me on this journey and I am so looking forward to taking you with me for the next five weeks paddling here in Chile!

My goal for the year was to get 10 personal first descents... this was my 25th new river/section in 2024 :)
