History of Hull: Parks - East Park

The history of one of Hull's oldest, and certainly Hull's largest, public park! Built alongside West Park in the 1880s and opened in 1887, East Park looms large in the childhood memories of generations of Hull residents!

If you're anything like me, viewing historical Ordnance Survey maps side by side with modern satellite views will certainly eat up far too much of your time!
