Adding a Laser Gun to My DIY Trackless Dark Ride
In this video, I show how I designed and built a custom laser gun for my homemade trackless dark ride. Starting with a $4 Nerf gun, I integrated a Raspberry Pi Pico, infrared sensors, and a Wi-Fi control system to enable accurate shooting and real-time scoring. I walk through the engineering process, from modifying the gun’s internals to connecting it to the ride’s central computer via CANbus.
