'Where are all the weeds?' is a question often asked by visitors to Tresco. Of course, I'd be lying if I said there wasn't a decent population of brambles and goosegrass milling about the borders. Fortunately, they have stiff competition from a group of plants which find Tresco so hospitable that they may freely set seed and spread about the garden giving it that authentic naturalistic look. Here is a selection of some of the plants that self-seed, to some degree, around the island.
