Meet Our Faculty – Prof. Arie Kacowicz on Negotiating Middle East Peace

As a part of our "Meet Our Faculty" series, we spoke with Prof. Arie Kacowicz; his research areas are International Relations Theory, The Normative Dimension in International Relations, Peace Research, International Relations of Latin America, and Globalization. Prof. Kacowicz teaches the popular course – ‘Negotiating Middle East Peace' at the Rothberg International School.
Mathes Rausch, a participant in Professor Kacowiczs' autumn 2020 course - joins him to share his unique experience and takeaways.
"Negotiating Middle East Peace" focuses on the topic of negotiations and conflict resolution in the context of the Arab-Israeli conflict from 1977 to the present. In the course, Prof. Kacowicz, together with his students, attempts to understand the failure of the peace process between the Israelis and Palestinians.
