This video shows how to use dry calendula infused oil to make handmade soap.
Tools & Materials:
Scale, Thermometer, Immersion Blender, Containers for Measuring & Mixing Lye, Containers for Mixing the Soap Batter, Heavy Duty Plastic or Silicone Spoons & Spatulas, Gloves & Goggles, Soap Molds (You can replace it by using empty milk box), Plastic Spoon, Easy Pour Containers, Whisk.
Materials: NaOH (Lye), Coconut Oil, Red Palm Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil infused Calendula flowers, Sweet Almond Oil, Soybean Ice Cube.
Included below are ingredients of the recipe so you can make it for yourself.
Final Product: 1kg of Soapbar.
Coconut Oil: 200g
Palm Oil: 300g
EV Olive Oil: 300g
Sweet Almond Oil: 200g
NaOH: 148g
Soybean Ice Cube: 185g
RO Water: 185g
Essential Oil: Peppermint, Lavender, Rose.
Caution:
1) It is recommended to use ice cube to cold down the temperature of liquid, to prevent overheat when mix the soybean and RO water with Lye.
2) It is a must to wear hand glove to prevent skin burning cause by NaOH.
3) Wear goggle to protect your eyes.
