Millennium Racer - Y2K Fighters (1999) - PC Futuristic Racing Games

Millennium Racer: Y2K Fighters by Creat Studios / Cryo, 1999.

A somewhat simple, Tron-like hoverbike racer without weapons. A mixture of speedups and boost keep things moving along at a fair pace, but somewhat sharp handling can cause you trouble in sharp turns.

There are 4 locations in the game, a space station, war/insect themed stage, an Inca themed location and something in Antarctica.

This video shows a race in each location. The first 3 are me playing (sometimes badly!) and the last one is a pre-recorded run by one of the developers, presumably.

Overall, this one is okay, but not exactly a game changer. Nice locations though, weird-looking, a bit like POD, another French-developed game.
