The Zikr (remembrance) of God in the heart and mind is an important topic, meaning to remember Allah, regardless of the language, keeping in mind that Allah is everything. Whatever you do, take steps with the remembrance of Allah. Remembering Allah does not just mean saying words in Arabic while engaging in other activities; it means understanding the concept of the Sirat al Mustaqeem, recognizing what it truly means.
It's not about verbally remembering Allah while engaging in other worldly activities. Remembering Allah means recognizing His attributes, understanding what pleases Him, and what displeases Him. Understanding your own connection with Allah is crucial. What pleases Him and what displeases Him, what brings you peace and tranquillity—all of this needs to be understood, for everything belongs to Allah.
Wherever you look, you should see the face of Allah. Remembering Allah is not just an external practice; it is an internal and spiritual connection. If you are seeing Allah, it means you feel that Allah is seeing you. This doesn't imply that someone is physically present on the seventh heaven. Rather, it means that the remembrance is about keeping your mind, heart, and soul alive.
When you remember Allah, even your breath will indicate whether you are on the right path or not. Your heartbeat will convey whether you are doing something right or wrong. The message of Allah is not found in books or lectures; it's in the frequency, vibration, and inspiration. It's about the beating of your heart, the rhythm of your breath, and the awareness of whether you are aligned with Allah's guidance.
The term "Zikr" is not limited to Arabic; it is about remembering Allah in any language that connects you with your Creator. Whether it's Hindi, Urdu, Japanese, Chinese, or any other language, the essence is to remember Allah, to have a conscious connection. Success lies in the remembrance of Allah, bringing tranquility to your heart and peace to your soul.
Zikr is not limited to reciting specific phrases or prayers; it's about establishing a constant communication with Allah. Speak to Allah 24/7, listen to His voice, and let Allah guide you. Your heart should stay alive, your soul should thrive, and you should not be swayed by the temptations of Satan. Remember Allah always, and you will receive continuous guidance from Him.
To engage in Zikr, you don't necessarily need to know Arabic. What matters is that you remember your God, regardless of the language. Say, "My Lord, remember me, and help me remember You." Allah doesn't need a specific language; He responds when you call upon Him. Call out to Allah, He says, "Call upon Me, I am present."
Seeing outwardly is associating partners with Allah, but seeing inwardly is recognizing that everything inside you is Allah. Keep Allah inside you, the Allah within you, the messenger within you. Keep all your thoughts, visualizations, and realizations focused on that.
