This week I'm starting landscaping a 12' x 8' section of the massive 170' long marshalling yard - just to demonstrate the different techniques used to create Heaton Lodge Phase 1. Over the next few weeks we'll ballast track, build embankments, a river, stagnant water ponds and building - as well as creating the exquisite detail Heaton Lodge is well known for.
We'll also look at speed weathering - a technique I've developed for the huge number of wagons on Heaton Lodge.
